Christ says that he and his Father are one, and that in order to come to the Father you must go through him. Here is the answer. God is one God, but in this one God there are three. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. They are 3 distinct persons, yet are one. I do not feel like delving into heresy, so I stop there, that is all we know. That is all God tells us in the Scriptures."
