Universe
The universe is looking less and less like a great machine and more and more like a great thought.
I have never grown out of the infantile belief that the universe was made for me to suck.
It is my supposition that the Universe in not only queerer than we imagine, is queerer than we CAN imagine.
The universe is transformation; our life is what our thoughts make it.
The crux… is that the vast majority of the mass of the universe seems to be missing.
The universe is one of God’s thoughts.
In answer to the question of why it happened, I offer the modest proposal that our Universe is simply one of those things which happen from time to time.
If there is nothing wrong with me, maybe there’s something wrong with the universe.
The universe is asymmetric and I am persuaded that life, as it is known to us, is a direct result of the asymmetry of the universe or of its indirect consequences. The universe is asymmetric.
The universe is merely a fleeting idea in God’s mind – a pretty uncomfortable thought, particularly if you’ve just made a down payment on a house.
