Imagine the Creator as a low comedian, and at once the world becomes explicable.
God is a comedian playing to an audience too afraid to laugh.
Our world is merely a practical joke of God.
Suppose the world were only one of God’s jokes, would you work any the less to make it a good joke instead of a bad one?
How can one better magnify the Almighty than by sniggering with him at his little jokes, particularly the poorer ones?
God always has another custard pie up his sleeve.
Why did Jesus become a carpenter?
Because his philosophy didn’t have a leg to stand on.
